Double The Fun and Weight Loss Success
When friends, couples, or families do the Lite For Life Program together, not only does it make following the program easier and more fun, it increases the success level of everyone involved.
That was certainly the case with Chris and Lisa, two of the first clients in our brand new San Jose office, located in downtown Willow Glen. When Chris and Lisa signed up for Lite for Life in November of 2005, they were somewhat hesitant. . With holiday parties right around the corner, they wondered if it was the right time to start a weight loss program.
Now heading into summer a combined 49 pounds lighter, they are thankful that they went for it! Chris met her weight goal, losing 21 pounds and 31.5 inches, and is now on the Maintenance program. Lisa is well on her way to her goal, having lost 28 pounds and 33.25 inches.
The Lite For Life Program has paid other dividends for both women as well. Lisa couldn’t believe how much better she felt even after just one week of following the program. Cutting out caffeine and the sugar really helped her feel more steady levels of energy. “Now I’m a huge water drinker and I can think clearly!” said Lisa. “I feel very centered.”
Chris also relied heavily on sugar as a pick-me-up and was worried about sugar cravings. “Diets for me in the past have always been about deprivation,” she says. “On this program, I’ve never felt deprived. If anything, I have to remind myself to eat! As long as I remember to get the snacks in, and try to combine fruit, starch, and protein at my meals, then I seem to do really well.” Chris now drinks a protein shake every morning instead of her former coffee with sugar. “It’s a warm cozy way to start my day,” she says.
What Chris and Lisa loved most was that the Lite for Life program was actually not a radical change in their diet. “It’s really about balancing out what you eat and eating what’s naturally good for you,” explained Chris.
“Think about it this way,” Lisa added, “You’re not giving up anything that’s really good for you!”
Both Chris and Lisa emphasize the importance of getting a support system in place when embarking on this life-changing program. “Doing this together, we felt like we were part of a team,” Chris says.
Adds Lisa: “There will always be a birthday, a holiday, or some other excuse to continue with unhealthy eating habits, so there’s never a better time than the present to start improving your health.

Lite for Life private label vitamins are some of the
best on the market. |
How Do Your Vitamins Stack Up?
Not all vitamins are created equally! After several years of research, we are pleased to offer high quality vitamin and mineral supplements made exclusively for Lite For Life by Douglas Laboratories.

We chose Douglas as our vitamin manufacturer because they ranked highest in a rigorous independent study comparing over 1000 vitamin products. Not surprising, when you consider that their standards for quality far exceed those of any other vitamin company, and that they are the only manufacturer to meet International Standards of Operation (ISOs), the highest mark of quality.
If you’re not already taking vitamin supplements, consider that the American Medical Association has recommended that all adults take at least one multivitamin daily. If you already take a multi-vitamin, we invite you to come into any of our locations and check out the study and see how your vitamins stack up!
